On Monday, my friends Barbara, Fletcher and Yulee took me to a park in the Bay area called the Bulb. The views of the surrounding cities are beautiful and there is a lot of art – big art – made from found objects.
Fletcher takes fabulous photographs and creates intricate mandalas using those images – check out his photo blog – and Yulee makes friends with the subjects.
There are very impressive sculptures along the shoreline made primarily of driftwood and large pieces of metal and building materials. It is amazing how much expression these characters embody.
The next is one of my favorites. Especially dramatic against the clear blue sky we had that day.
