I’ve been designing patterns for awhile now and uploading them to a site called Spoonflower. Customers can choose from a variety of different fabrics, wall paper, or gift wrap printed with designs created by artists from around the world. Artists get a small commission from each purchase, but often don’t know the destiny of their half of the creative process. It’s an oddly impersonal collaboration, but when discovered, can still be satisfying. This Washi Origami Cranes pattern is one of my favorites. The development of each crane was complex and time consuming, and it’s very fun to see the finished product being offered as part of this baby carrier produced by a company in Greece: https://www.babywearing.gr/en/product/asteraki-mei-tai-4507/
